A star-forming region and young open cluster in Serpens also known as the Star Queen Nebula. The dark-lane in the center of the nebula has the shape of an eagle with it's talons out as if to strike. This area is also the area photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope and named the Pillars of Creation due to the existence of star-forming regions within. |
